A calling card is a prepaid card that is used for making cheap international telephone-calls, mostly over an IP (Internet Protocol) network, avoiding the high costs traditional telecom carriers apply. You can buy the cards in denominations of $5, $10, or $20 USD. On purchase, you will get a PIN number, a toll-free telephone-number to use the PIN, and customer service telephone number for each card. If you use it until it has either no credit or has expired, you may recharge (and keep your old PIN) or buy a new card (and get a new PIN).
