Jaxtr lays off some staff

VoIP and social network startup Jaxtr Inc. has laid off 14 of its employees including chief executive has stepped down. Interim CEO Bahman Koohestani said former chief excutive Konstantin Guericke is stepping down to spend more time with his wife and two young daughters. However, Konstantin will remain as chairman of the company. With the layoffs, the company now has about 30 employees.
